The Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin is starting tomorrow and I managed to get tickets for not one, but two movies! With the help of StilinBerlin’s guide to the the Berlinale, a lot of patience and luck, I managed to click my way to two screenings this Saturday. I'm so happy!
After living in Rotterdam for 6 years, and missing the IFFR there EVERY year, I got myself together this year – I have tickets to Filipino movie ‘Unfriend’ and the British movie ‘Sweet Sixteen’ that was released in 2002 already. Of course, movies like Monuments Men, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and American Hustle are going to be the main celebrity attractions, but inspired by the great program this year (and recommendations by StilinBerlin) I decided to opt for more underground movies that I might not ever see outside of the Berlinale.
Really can’t wait for the weekend!
